WHAT TO EXPECT

The least populated part of Belize, Toledo District is rich in natural resources and extravagant beauty.  With an average rainfall of more than 120" it is certainly the wettest part of Belize.  Rainy season starts in June and ends around December.  August is locally known as the "little dry" when it is usually hot and sunny during the day and then rains at night.   In the winter temperatures can drop quite a bit at night.   With our elevation at The Farm Inn, mosquitoes are not common and are generally only found around standing water areas around the creeks.  We are surrounded by tropical jungle growth and serene Mayan villages.
